Jules IGP Méditerranée Rosé 2025 is exactly what you want from a good Southern French Rosé: pale, dry, refreshing and dangerously easy to pour.

Wild strawberry and raspberry lead the way, with citrus, delicate herbs and a subtle touch of vanilla underneath. The 2025 has a particularly fresh, precise feel, with bright acidity and a lovely saline character running through the palate. It has plenty of fruit, but finishes dry and crisp rather than sweet.

This is a cracking introduction to French Rosé without heading into premium Provence prices. It is organic, beautifully refreshing, and affordable, making it a very easy bottle to keep chilled and ready to go.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Wild strawberry, raspberry, delicate citrus, vanilla and Provençal herbs.

Palate: Fresh and lively with red berries, citron and bright acidity, with a gentle mineral and salty character adding extra texture.

Finish: Dry, refreshing and persistent with lingering citrus, wild berries and aromatic herbs.

About The Winery

Jules is produced by Domaine de Marotte near Carpentras, at the foot of Mont Ventoux in Southern France. The estate focuses on organically grown wines with the freshness and herbal character that make Mediterranean Rosé so appealing.

The Cuvée Jules Rosé is built around classic southern French varieties, with Mourvèdre bringing structure, Grenache adding juicy fruit and Syrah contributing spice and depth. The established blend is 50% Mourvèdre, 30% Grenache Noir and 20% Syrah.

The result is pale, aromatic and refreshing, but with a little more character and texture than some very simple Rosés. Basically, it looks like summer in a bottle and thankfully tastes like it too.

Cellaring Potential

Jules Rosé 2025 is drinking beautifully now, but the producer suggests the style can hold for around two to three years.

Recommended drinking window: Now to 2028.
