If you enjoy Chardonnay that’s elegant rather than overt, with clarity and poise, this is an outstanding modern Australian example.

Aroma: Lemon zest, white peach and nectarine with hints of cashew, oatmeal and a touch of flint.

Palate: Medium-bodied and finely textured, showing citrus and stone fruit layered with gentle creaminess and well-integrated oak.

Provenance Wines is one of Victoria’s most respected cool-climate producers, founded by winemaker Rob Dutton and now led by a highly regarded team focused on terroir-driven wines. The Golden Plains region, stretching west of Geelong, benefits from cool maritime influences, low yields and long growing seasons perfect conditions for producing Chardonnay with natural acidity, precision and elegance. Provenance’s minimal intervention approach allows the vineyard character to shine clearly in the glass.
