About The Wine

Sons Of Eden Kennedy GSM 2023 is a classic Barossa Valley blend built around old-vine Grenache, with Shiraz and Mourvèdre adding depth, spice and structure. The 2023 vintage is generous and beautifully balanced, showing plush fruit, savoury detail and a polished texture that makes it highly appealing now while still offering plenty of substance. Kennedy has been part of the Sons Of Eden story since the first vintage in 2000 and remains one of the producer’s signature tribute wines.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Dark raspberry, liquorice, dark plum, vanilla spice and subtle earthy notes.

Palate: Rich and succulent, with dark raspberry, plum, blueberry and savoury spice carried by a velvety feel.

Finish: Long, sumptuous and silky, with lingering spice, dried herbs and polished tannins.

Serving Suggestions

A great match for grilled lamb, slow-cooked beef, roast pork, smoky sausages or hard aged cheeses.

About the Winery / Producer / Region

Sons Of Eden is the Barossa project of winemaker Corey Ryan and viticulturist Simon Cowham, with the winery producing its first vintage in 2000. The name reflects their shared connection to Eden Valley, where both refined their craft before building Sons Of Eden into one of the Barossa’s most respected modern producers. Kennedy is named in tribute to the legendary Barossa growers who established the treasured old vineyards that still shape the region today.
