Deep red/purple in colour, the Cabernet Sauvignon is quite lifted & floral a varietal nose of cassis and blackcurrant with some dried leaf, tobacco and spicy oak.
The palate is well structured, long and silky, with cassis and dark blackcurrant fruit with fine chalky tannin, good balancing acidity and length. This wine will definitely benefit from decanting in its youth. Designed for drinking now, but will further develop and reward cellaring for 5+ years
Gipsie Jack has been named after John Glaetzer’s Jack Russell “Gipsie”. She is proudly displayed on every label. John is a legendary wine maker who is a long time supporter of Langhorne Creek fruit. Along with great mate and local vigneron Bill Potts, they decided the time was right to take matters into their own hands……..and so the birth of The Gipsie Jack Wine label began.
Whilst Gipsie Jack has a serious mission to raise the image of Langhorne Creek and give a few mates a leg up by providing a small but ever increasing alternative market, they don’t want customers to take the wine too seriously. . In every aspect it is vibrant, fresh and fun.

Local deliveries are delivered directly by our store. Delivery is usually the same day if order is placed before 11am. Orders placed after 11am will be next day delivery. We do not deliver on Sundays. Orders of only Beer/Cider, Mixers and/or soft drink including slabs will attract a delivery fee and can only be ordered under local deliveries or Click & Collect.
