The Two Metre Tall Sour Pumpkin Ale is a wild-fermented, barrel-aged farmhouse ale that’s as unique as it sounds. Crafted from hand-roasted pumpkins grown on the brewery’s own farm in Tasmania’s Derwent Valley, this ale is a vibrant expression of terroir, craft, and creativity ,complex, tart, and utterly distinctive.

This is not your average pumpkin beer. Fermented with Two Metre Tall’s house wild yeasts and aged in oak barrels, it delivers a layered experience of gentle spice, earthy funk, and natural acidity. The result is a refreshing, slightly savoury ale that blurs the line between beer, cider, and farmhouse wine,perfect for adventurous palates seeking something truly artisanal.

About Two Metre Tall Brewery

Founded by Ashley and Jane Huntington in 2004, Two Metre Tall is a farmhouse brewery, cidery, and meadery based in the Derwent Valley, Tasmania. Set on a working farm, the brewery is celebrated for its wild ales and spontaneous fermentations, all crafted using native yeasts, local grain, and ingredients grown on-site. Two Metre Tall has developed a cult following for its bold, natural approach to brewing eschewing convention to create beers that reflect both land and season. Every bottle is a one-of-a-kind expression of Tasmanian terroir.
