Rodenbach Evolved St Georges Pale Sour is a beautifully bright, barrel aged sour that blends tradition with modern finesse. Inspired by Rodenbach’s historic “Gueuze Saint George” (discontinued in the 1970s), this special release delivers delicate fruit notes, thirst quenching acidity and a refined, champagne like lift.

Light on its feet yet quietly complex, St Georges layers orchard-fruit freshness (think apple and peach) over gentle oak, making it a perfect crossover for fans of wild ales, lambic, saison and even natural wine. A standout bottle for sharing, food pairing, or slow sipping.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Apple, white peach, soft oak and a subtle wild edge.
Palate: Bright, delicate and gently vinous with crisp fruit and refreshing sourness.

About Rodenbach Brewery

Rodenbach is one of Belgium’s great sour-beer icons, founded in 1821 in Roeselare, West Flanders, and famed for its mixed fermentation beers matured in large oak foeders. Their hallmark is balance: bright acidity, elegant fruit character and patient oak ageing , a tradition that makes the Evolved series (including St Georges) such a natural fit.
