Tasting Notes

Aroma: Ripe blackberry, dark plum and blueberry with hints of clove, licorice, and dark chocolate.
Palate: Full-bodied and plush with concentrated black fruits, warming spice, mocha, and savoury undertones wrapped in silky tannins.
Finish: Long, generous, and beautifully balanced with lingering fruit and spice.

Food Pairing / Serving Suggestions

Perfect with slow-cooked lamb shanks, chargrilled ribeye, or rich mushroom ragù. Also shines alongside aged cheddar or pecorino.

About the Winery

Hentley Farm, located in the heart of the Barossa Valley, is a highly awarded single-estate winery founded in 1997 by Keith and Alison Hentschke. With a focus on terroir-driven wines and minimal intervention winemaking, Hentley Farm has quickly risen to prominence, being named Halliday’s Winery of the Year in 2015. The estate’s vineyards produce some of the Barossa’s most highly regarded Shiraz, known for their intensity, elegance, and age-worthiness.
