Rameau d'Or is produced in the heart of Côtes de Provence, one of the world’s best known rosé regions. The house presents itself as a family owned producer built on generations of craftsmanship, combining time honoured wine making with a modern Provence rosé style. That sense of heritage suits the wine well because this is a label that leans into both classic regional identity and contemporary drinking.

Côtes de Provence itself is a vast and varied appellation, officially recognised in 1977, spanning more than 20,000 hectares across the Var, Bouches du Rhône and part of Alpes Maritimes. It is a region shaped by a sunny Mediterranean climate, complex limestone and crystalline soils, and the cooling influence of the Mistral, which helps keep vineyards healthy and fruit expressive.

This mix of sun, sea influence, dry conditions and well drained soils is a big part of why Provence rosé is so consistently fresh and refined. The vineyards across the region benefit from long daylight hours, relatively low rainfall and constant airflow, helping grapes ripen fully while still holding brightness and aromatic lift.
