Aroma: Fresh citrus zest, white peach, green apple, and flinty minerality.
Palate: Bone-dry and zippy, with crisp acidity and flavours of lemon, lime, crushed stone, and orchard fruit. Linear and focused with a clean, refreshing finish.

The 2023 Riesling is precisely the same wine as the Riesling trocken but with an arrested ferment at a point that Dönnhoff deems to have a certain balance. Stone, flint and lemon play on the nose. The palate dances, veil-like, barely there, with exquisite lightness. A subtle sweetness highlights juicy apples and tender lemons.
The 2023 Dönnhoff Trocken Riesling is a textbook example of dry German Riesling, racy, elegant, and incredibly food-friendly. A must-try for lovers of crisp white wines.
