Fringe Société Gamay 2025 is one of those reds that is just incredibly easy to drink. It is juicy, bright and packed with red fruit, with enough spice and freshness to keep it interesting without becoming too serious.

Plum, cherry and raspberry come through first, followed by violet, a little pepper and warm spice. The palate is smooth and medium bodied, with lively acidity and soft tannins keeping everything fresh. Give it a slight chill and it becomes even more dangerously drinkable.

Aroma: Raspberry, cherry, plum, violet and gentle peppery spice.

Palate: Juicy and medium bodied with ripe red berries, plum, warm spice and lively acidity.

Finish: Fresh and smooth with lingering red fruit, spice and soft tannins.

About The Winery

Fringe Société is a collaborative French wine project built around making wines that are full of character, but still relaxed and easy to enjoy. The fruit is sourced from selected vineyard sites in southern France, with the focus firmly on good fruit, freshness and drinkability.

This Gamay comes from Comté Tolosan in South West France, an area stretching through the Adour and Garonne river basins. The vineyards experience a mix of maritime and continental influences, helping produce ripe fruit while holding onto the acidity that gives this wine its bright, juicy feel.

If you like lighter reds such as Pinot Noir or Beaujolais but want something with a little more juicy fruit and spice, this is a great bottle to try.
