Ephemera Pinot Noir 2024 is a bright, fresh and beautifully drinkable Victorian Pinot Noir from King Valley. It has that lovely lighter Pinot feel, with juicy red fruit, a little darker fruit underneath and a savoury edge that keeps it interesting.

The 2024 vintage shows cherry, raspberry, red berries, dried peppermint and gentle spice, with a smooth palate and fine tannins. It is fresh enough to serve slightly cool, but still has enough depth to enjoy with roast chicken, mushrooms, pork or a relaxed cheese board.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Cherry, raspberry, red berries, dried peppermint, spice and subtle dark fruit.

Palate: Light to medium bodied with red and black fruit, fine tannins, fresh acidity and soft savoury detail.

Finish: Clean and silky with lingering cherry, spice, dried mint and a gentle earthy note.

Serving Suggestions

About The Producer

Ephemera is the wine project of Janelle De Gabriele and Rhen Dodd, a small Victorian label shaped by curiosity, place and thoughtful winemaking. Based in the King Valley, they work with carefully chosen vineyard sites and make wines that feel fresh, expressive and full of personality.

Their approach is gentle and hands on, with natural ferments, careful extraction and minimal intervention in the cellar. The goal is not to make heavy or overworked wines, but to capture the bright, fleeting character of each vineyard and vintage.

This Pinot Noir comes from Whitlands, a high country Victorian area known for cool conditions, freshness and aromatic fruit. That cool setting helps give the wine its lift, fine tannins and bright red fruit character.
