About the Winery / Producer / Region

Prosper Maufoux is one of Burgundy’s historic wine houses, founded in 1860 and based at the Château de Saint-Aubin on the Route des Grands Crus. The house has long played a role in taking Burgundy to a wider international audience and remains closely associated with classic regional and village expressions from across Burgundy. For this Bourgogne Pinot Noir, the fruit is drawn from a blend of terroirs in Côte d'Or, Saône-et-Loire and Yonne, giving the wine both typicity and broad regional character.

Cellaring Potential

Best enjoyed young while its fruit freshness and lively character are at their best, though it should drink well over the short term under good conditions.
