Foxeys Hangout Pinot Gris 2024 is a standout white wine from Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. With its pale straw hue and bright profile, it marries gentle fruit flavours with precise acidity, making it both refreshing and sophisticated.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, you’ll discover delicate aromatics of pear, green apple, quince, honeysuckle, rose petals, and a hint of spice. The palate strikes a perfect balance: juicy tree fruits ride atop crisp citrus tones, all held together by a fine minerality and a touch of residual sugar that adds texture,not sweetness with a clean, sustained finish .
Winemaking & Style
Crafted with meticulous care, the fruit was harvested early at around 12° Baumé to preserve freshness. Whole-bunch pressed, the juice received gentle settling before being barrel-fermented and aged on old oak with lees for enhanced mouthfeel using native yeasts, no acid or malolactic intervention, and minimal stirring. The result is a wine that shines in its youth, offering purity and vibrancy.

Thoughtful Craft: Natural winemaking and old oak ageing honour varietal integrity.
