About the Winery / Region
Champagne Pol Roger was founded in 1849 in Épernay and remains one of Champagne’s most esteemed family-owned houses. Renowned for its understated elegance and consistency, Pol Roger has long been associated with refinement and longevity, famously favoured by Sir Winston Churchill, whose legacy remains deeply intertwined with the house.
Pol Roger is distinguished by its cool, deep chalk cellars, some of the deepest in Champagne, providing ideal conditions for slow maturation and finesse.
