About The Wine

Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay 2025 is a bright, polished and beautifully balanced Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay with classic cool climate freshness. It brings together lemon curd, grapefruit, white peach and nectarine, with subtle oak detail adding notes of brioche, roasted hazelnut and gentle spice.

This is an approachable yet refined Chardonnay from one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most respected producers. It has lovely fruit purity, zesty acidity and enough texture to feel generous without becoming heavy.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Lemon curd, grapefruit, white peach, nectarine, white florals, brioche and roasted hazelnut.

Palate: Fresh and medium-bodied, with citrus drive, stone fruit richness, fine texture and gentle savoury oak detail.

Finish: Clean, vibrant and balanced, with lingering grapefruit, peach, almond and soft mineral freshness.

Serving Suggestions

Serve lightly chilled. Enjoy with grilled fish, roast chicken, creamy pasta, seafood, pork, mushroom risotto, soft cheeses or vegetable dishes with herbs and lemon.

Cellaring Potential

Montalto Pennon Hill Chardonnay 2025 is made to be enjoyed young for its citrus freshness, stone fruit and bright acidity. It can also be cellared for around 3 to 5 years to develop more nutty, creamy and savoury complexity.
