The grapes come from the renowned Bricco Ambrogio vineyard in La Morra, an area known for delivering Barolo with finesse and accessibility. The vineyard benefits from a combination of calcareous clay soil and an optimal microclimate, allowing the Nebbiolo grape to develop its characteristic complexity.
The wine is fermented in cement tanks, preserving the grape's pure fruit and aromatic finesse. It then matures in large oak barrels for two years, which rounds out the tannins and creates a harmonious wine with impressive elegance.
Barolo Bricco Ambrogio is a classic example of how beautiful and accessible a Barolo can be in its youth, but it also has the potential to evolve beautifully over the next many years. It is ideal to enjoy with truffle dishes, game, or mature cheeses – or simply in good company, where you can be seduced by its subtle depth and silky structure.
