The 2023 Seresin Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand, offers a refined and textural take on the region’s signature varietal. Crafted from 90% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Sémillon, this wine undergoes wild fermentation and partial aging on lees in neutral oak barrels, resulting in a layered and mineral-driven profile.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Vibrant notes of white passionfruit and lemon balm, complemented by a savory, leafy edge from the Sémillon component.

Palate: Textured and balanced, featuring ripe gooseberry, tropical fruit, and citrus flavors, all underscored by a slate-like mineral acidity.

Winemaking Details

Fermented with native yeasts.

30% of the wine fermented in neutral oak barrels.

Aged on lees to enhance complexity and mouthfeel.
