Aroma: Bursting with aromas of ripe blackberry, cherry compote, violet, and sweet spice.
Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, showcasing layers of dark fruit, cocoa, and a touch of vanilla from gentle oak ageing. Smooth tannins and vibrant acidity give it beautiful balance and drinkability.
Finish: Long and satisfying, with lingering notes of plum and spice.

Food Pairing / Serving Suggestions

About the Winery / Region

Tenuta Ulisse, founded in 2006 by brothers Antonio and Luigi Ulisse, has quickly become one of Abruzzo’s most acclaimed modern wineries. Combining traditional Italian craftsmanship with cutting-edge techniques, they showcase the unique character of native varieties such as Montepulciano and Pecorino. The winery’s vineyards, located between the Majella mountains and the Adriatic Sea, benefit from perfect diurnal temperature variation, ensuring rich fruit flavour and fresh acidity.

Delicious upon release yet structured enough to cellar gracefully for 5 to 8 years. Expect added savoury depth and soft, integrated tannins with time.
