Les Vignerons Saint-Pourçain La Ficelle Gamay Pinot Noir 2024 is a light, vibrant French red made in a classic vin de soif style, built for pure drinkability. About the Winery / Producer / Region

Les Vignerons Saint Pourçain is the local co-operative in Saint Pourçain, one of France’s oldest wine regions, with a winemaking history that stretches back to Roman times and a strong reputation in the Middle Ages. The La Ficelle label has become one of the region’s best known modern wines, with a different cartoonist designed label released each year. The name “La Ficelle” refers to the old café practice of using a knotted string to measure how much wine had been poured from a customer’s flagon before settling the bill.
