Tenuta Ulisse Terre D'Abruzzo Pecorino 2025 is exactly the sort of Italian white that deserves more attention.

White peach and citrus lead the way, with hints of tropical fruit and grapefruit giving the wine extra lift. The palate is fresh, dry and nicely rounded, with bright acidity and a clean mineral edge keeping everything lively. Tenuta Ulisse describes the style as combining power, roundness and freshness, and that balance comes through clearly here.

This is a great alternative if you normally reach for Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio but want something with a little more texture and personality. Plenty of freshness, but enough body and fruit to make it feel properly satisfying.

Tenuta Ulisse is based in Abruzzo and has built its reputation around modern, expressive versions of the region’s traditional grape varieties.

Pecorino is one of the key white grapes of central Italy, and Tenuta Ulisse gives it plenty of fruit character while keeping the style fresh and mineral. The result is approachable enough for everyday drinking, but with enough personality to remind you there is a lot more to Italian white wine than Pinot Grigio.
