About the Winery / Region
Champagne Pommery was founded in 1858 in Reims and is renowned for shaping the modern Champagne style. Under the visionary leadership of Madame Louise Pommery, the house pioneered the Brut style of Champagne in the 19th century, creating a drier, more elegant expression that would go on to define Champagne globally.
Pommery owns extensive chalk cellars beneath Reims, carved into ancient crayères, providing ideal conditions for slow ageing and refinement. Brut Royal reflects this heritage, a blend focused on finesse, freshness and harmony, crafted to showcase the house’s distinctive, elegant signature.
