Royal Tokaji Late Harvest 2023 is a beautifully balanced Hungarian sweet wine from the historic Tokaj region. Made from Furmint, Hárslevelű and Sárgamuskotály, it brings together natural sweetness, bright acidity and the freshness that makes Tokaji so special.

The 2023 vintage shows pale gold colour, delicate citrus, spice, white peach and honey, with a silky texture and a long, clean finish. It is sweet, but never heavy, thanks to Tokaj’s signature acidity and refreshing fruit lift.

About The Winery

Royal Tokaji is one of the great modern names of Hungary’s Tokaj region. The winery was founded in 1990 by wine writer Hugh Johnson and a group of investors who wanted to help revive the historic wines of Tokaj after decades of decline during the Communist era.

Tokaj is one of the world’s most famous sweet wine regions, with a winemaking history stretching back centuries. Its volcanic soils, cool climate influence, autumn mists and native grape varieties help create wines with remarkable sweetness, freshness and longevity.

Royal Tokaji is especially known for its Aszú wines, but this Late Harvest style offers a more approachable expression of the region. It keeps the classic Tokaji balance of ripe fruit, honeyed sweetness and lively acidity, making it a wonderful introduction to one of Europe’s most treasured wine styles.
