Bird in Hand is a family owned South Australian winery established in 1997 by Andrew and Susie Nugent in Woodside, in the Adelaide Hills. The estate has grown into one of Australia's most recognisable premium wine brands, producing wines celebrated for their elegance, quality and distinctive presentation.

The Adelaide Hills provides an excellent environment for cool climate varieties, particularly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with warm days and cooler nights helping preserve natural acidity and fresh fruit flavours.

Bird in Hand Sparkling reflects the winery's approachable style, using predominantly Pinot Noir from selected cooler South Australian vineyard sites to create a delicate pink sparkling wine with freshness, vibrant fruit and an elegant finish.

The pale colour comes from allowing only minimal contact between the grape skins and juice, preserving the delicate strawberry and floral character without producing a heavier Rosé style.

And while Bird in Hand has certainly mastered the art of making a bottle look rather impressive on the table, it is reassuring to know the wine inside is doing its fair share of the work.
