Vinedos Viejos Vino De Montana Field Blend is made from a blend of Garnacha, Rufete, and Piñuela varieties grown in high-altitude vineyards in the Sierra de Gredos Mountains. Due to the closure of wine cooperatives and the migration of younger generations to urban areas, these remote mountain villages are facing an uncertain future. In order to preserve the ancient vineyards, the Mountain Wine Project was created, collaborating with local producers in Sierra de Gredos and Sierra de Gata to revitalize the vineyards and sustain the communities.

The wines are crafted from old Garnacha vines on granite soil, resulting in a perfumed, delicate, and fresh flavour profile. Deep ruby in colour with hints of black, the wine offers aromas of ripe dark raspberry, cherry, liquorice, and scorched earth, followed by notes of vanilla spice. On the palate, rich dark raspberry, cherry, and liquorice flavours.
