Santadi Villa Solais Vermentino 2025 is a bright, easy drinking Sardinian white with loads of freshness and that lovely salty edge you expect from island grown Vermentino. White peach and lime lead the way, with gentle florals, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of tropical fruit adding a little extra interest.

The palate is fresh and slightly juicy rather than razor sharp, with light to medium body and a clean mineral feel through the finish. It is the kind of white that is very easy to reach for, especially if you like crisp Italian whites with plenty of flavour but nothing too heavy.

Aroma: White peach, lime, elderflower, green apple, Mediterranean herbs and subtle tropical fruit.

Palate: Fresh and lightly juicy with peach, citrus, gentle herbs and a clean mineral feel.

About The Winery

Cantina Santadi is based in the Sulcis area of south western Sardinia and has become one of the island’s best known wine producers. The winery focuses on varieties that suit Sardinia’s warm Mediterranean climate, producing wines with plenty of regional character and freshness.

Villa Solais comes from vineyards in the lower Sulcis area, where sandy and clay based soils help give the wine its fresh, mineral style. The 2025 is a lovely example of everyday Sardinian Vermentino, bright, clean and very easy to enjoy.
