“Aromatic Sicilian Grillo with mango, papaya, jasmine and a fresh citrus finish.”

Feudo Arancio Grillo 2025 is a bright, aromatic Sicilian white that shows exactly why Grillo has become one of the island’s most exciting native varieties.

Mango and papaya lead the way, with jasmine, white flowers and fresh citrus adding lift. The palate is balanced and harmonious, with gentle acidity and enough texture to stop the wine feeling too simple or one dimensional.

Why buy it? Because this gives you genuine Sicilian character at a very approachable price. It is fresh enough for warm weather, and aromatic enough to stand out from more neutral whites.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Mango, papaya, jasmine, white flowers and fresh citrus.

Palate: Medium bodied and harmonious with tropical fruit, pear, citrus and delicate acidity.

Finish: Fresh and persistent with lingering tropical fruit, florals and a clean citrus edge.

About The Winery

Feudo Arancio is a Sicilian producer with vineyards across the island, focusing strongly on native varieties and bright, modern expressions of regional character.

The 2025 Grillo comes from Acate in the province of Ragusa, where sunny slopes and sandy soils suit the variety particularly well. Grillo is one of Sicily’s historic white grapes and was traditionally used in the production of Marsala, but today it has found a second life as a fresh, aromatic table wine.

The 2025 is matured for around five months on lees in stainless steel, helping preserve the tropical fruit and floral character while adding a little extra texture through the palate.

This is one of those whites that reminds you there is a lot more to Italian wine than Pinot Grigio.

Cellaring Potential

Feudo Arancio Grillo 2025 is best enjoyed young while its tropical fruit and floral aromatics are bright and fresh.

Recommended drinking window: Now to 2028.
