Merlot leads with plush texture and dark berry richness, while Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon add lift, spice and definition, an elegant, cellar-worthy Saint\ Émilion that’s already drinking well with a little air.

Aroma: Sweet berries and cherries, dark plum, licorice and clove with subtle floral and earthy tones.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and lively with cool dark fruit, fine tannins and a polished oak frame.

Food Pairing / Serving Suggestions
Serve at 16–18°C. Decant 30–60 minutes to soften the youthful structure and bring out the aromatics.
About the Winery / Producer / Region
Château Mangot is a historic Saint-Émilion estate with deep roots, records trace the vineyard back to 1556, with vines planted from 1561 and notable recognition including an 1886 international wine competition, plus a château built in 1890. Today, the estate continues to focus on expressive, site led wines from its Saint-Émilion slopes.

A strong vintage for the cellar, enjoy now with air, or hold confidently through 2036+ as it gains more savoury complexity and tertiary detail.
