This vintage boasts a concentrated hue and pure fruit aromas of plum compote, blueberry, and blackberry. It is perfectly balanced with layers of spice, violets, jasmine, and other complexities. With a vibrant minerality and compact tannins, this wine's long and true finish will leave a lasting impression.
"The Relic is absolutely singing this year. Shiraz from an east-facing vineyard in Krondorf, with the addition of 2% viognier in '22. It sports an insanely concentrated hue in the glass, with pure fruit aromas of plum compote, blueberry and black berry fruits. Layer upon layer of spice along with violets, jasmine, pippy raspberry nuance, dried citrus rind, roasting meats and turned earth. For all the wine's fruit density and intensity, it's got cut and a vivid minerality of line, sliding across the palate with impressive energy and verve, its tannins compact, akin to compressed quartz and graphite, and the finish is long, pure and true. Local deliveries are delivered directly by our store. Delivery is usually the same day if order is placed before 11am. Orders placed after 11am will be next day delivery. We do not deliver on Sundays. Orders of only Beer/Cider, Mixers and/or soft drink including slabs will attract a delivery fee and can only be ordered under local deliveries or Click & Collect.
