This blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Petit Verdot comes from Château Massereau in Barsac and is naturally vinified in concrete vats over 4–8 weeks. The estate embraces a low-intervention style with minimal yeast additions, fining, filtration, and sulphur, resulting in a pure, terroir-driven expression.
Rich garnet in color, this wine opens with intense blackberry, dark plum, and warm spice, accented by pepper, cedar, violet, tobacco, and a hint of smoke. The palate is savory and firmly structured, dark berry flavors are complemented by herbal tones, dried herbs, and a citrus-like blood orange lift.
