Deep crimson in the glass, it opens with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and plum, layered with hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, and sweet spice. The palate is plush and mouth-filling, offering dark fruit flavours, smooth tannins, and a lingering, savoury finish. A crowd-pleasing red that pairs beautifully with roast meats, barbecued fare, or aged cheddar.

Grown on vines with an average age of 40 years. Matured initially in all-American oak (20% new) and then transferred to a mix of American and French oak (20 months total in barrel); 60/40 blend in cabernet's favour. It's a rich, luscious wine, blackcurrant flavours tumbling through vanilla and mint, tobacco notes made cuddlier by the general creamy softness of the palate. No Aussie red-wine drinker will be left disappointed.
