About The Wine

Greenock Creek Casey’s Block Shiraz 2021 is a bold, deeply flavoured Barossa Shiraz that leans into richness, power and classic regional generosity. Sourced from the Seppeltsfield area, it delivers a dark, brooding style with super ripe plum and cherry fruit, layered spice and plenty of depth through the palate. A move toward more seasoned French oak, with a small portion of new American oak, helps keep the fruit in focus while adding polish and shape.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Super ripe plums, black cherry, burnt caramel, cracked black pepper and vanillin oak.

Palate: Rich and luscious, with dark plum, liquorice and black cherry fruit layered with fennel, savoury spice and fine oak support.

Finish: Long, lavish and mouthfilling, with polished tannins, dark fruit depth and a smooth, velvety close.

Serving Suggestions

A superb match for grilled ribeye, roast lamb, slow-cooked beef, smoky barbecue dishes or aged hard cheeses.
