About The Beer

Banks Brewing Foam Pilsner is a 4.7% German style pilsner brewed with 100% floor malted pilsner malt and hopped with Perle and Hallertau Mittelfrüh, it takes a classic, traditional approach to the style, with natural carbonation and an extended lagering period helping shape its clean, polished feel.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh bread crust, light floral lift and subtle noble hop spice.

Palate: Crisp and refreshing, with crackery malt, soft herbal hop character and bright pilsner clarity.

Finish: Dry, cleansing and neatly bitter, making it a highly drinkable lager with proper structure.

Banks Brewing is a small family owned brewery based in Seaford in Melbourne’s south east, led by Chris and Penny Farmer. Brewing began there in May 2016, and the brewery says balance and deliciousness sit at the heart of its approach.
