Plantation Stiggins’ Fancy Pineapple Rum is a decadent take on dark rum, bursting with fresh pineapple character.

Crafted in Barbados and infused with whole Tahitian pineapple chunks for several months, this expression begins with premium dark rum aged in both bourbon and cognac casks. Following infusion, it undergoes a second maturation in oak, yielding a dynamic and expressive spirit (plantationrum.com, masterofmalt.com). The result is a sugar-free but a rich variant that balances indulgent fruit with sophisticated depth.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Enveloping aromas of freshly cut pineapple, ripe mango, baking spice, toasted oak, and vanilla custard.
Palate: Smooth yet vibrant, with juicy pineapple and stone fruit layered over caramel, coconut, and warm spice, leading to a rich, rounded finish that retains tropical sweetness without being sticky.
Finish: Long and balanced, with lingering rum warmth, gentle tannin, and a hint of exotic fruit.
