John Glaetzer John’s Blend Margarete’s Shiraz 2021 is a full bodied Langhorne Creek Shiraz built in a generous, deeply flavoured style. It delivers the region’s classic richness, with dark fruit, chocolate, mint and oak complexity all working together in a smooth, layered palate. This is a bold, mature-release Shiraz with plenty of presence and a strong sense of place. 

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Blackberry, dark plum, choc-mint, spice and refined oak.

Palate: Full bodied and rich, with plush dark fruit, chocolate and mint carried by generous oak and soft, velvety texture. 

Finish: Long, smooth and warming, with lingering spice, dark fruit and soft tannins.

Serving Suggestions

A great match for roast lamb, slow-cooked beef, chargrilled steaks or aged hard cheeses.

Margarete’s Shiraz is a limited annual release and sits as one of the richer, more powerful wines in the range, built around carefully selected Shiraz parcels and extended oak maturation.
