Bold, decadent, and distinctly Australian – Greenock Creek Sparkling Shiraz 2019 is a luxurious take on a classic Barossa icon.

Hailing from old-vine Shiraz grown in Marananga's cool gullies, this method champenoise sparkler captures the drama and depth of Barossa Valley fruit. The base wine was matured in American oak for 12 months before bottling, then aged three years on lees to develop texture and mousse character.

Tasting Profile

Visual: Deep purple core with vibrant red edges, rising into a fine, persistent bead 

Aroma: Dark plum, blackberry, mocha, and liquorice mingle with nutty oak and gentle leather notes 

Palate: Rich and plush, offering concentrated black fruit with earth, dark chocolate, and savoury complexity. A fine tannin structure provides balance, culminating in a long, weighty finish .

Old-vine Marananga shiraz features here with a purple-tinged hue, a fine, energetic bead and purpley spume. Pure and concentrated blackberry, satsuma plum and blueberry fruits along with hints of spice, blueberry pie, morello cherries, chocolate bullets and purple flowers. Rich, fruit-pure and just a joy to drink, with ripe dark and black fruits, plenty of spice, fine tannins and bright acidity, finishing long and like liquid Christmas cake.
