Tasting Notes

Nose: Dark cherry, mulberry, and fennel with lifted raspberry undertones, accented by spice, liquorice, and charred beetroot.

Palate: Broad and savoury, with flavours of blood plum, sweet black cherries, rhubarb, and mulberry, framed by fine-grained tannins, warm earth, and subtle oak spice.

Finish: Juicy and well-balanced, concluding cleanly with chalky, cocoa-like tannins.

Ideal temp: 16–18 °C in a Bordeaux or medium-sized red glass.

Delicious with: Salt-crusted eye fillet, char-grilled lamb cutlets, roasted root vegetables, or aged cheddar – a perfect match for rich, savoury fare
