Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 2012

Outstanding pitch black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted liquorice, Morello cherry and marzipan aromas fill the nostrils followed by hints of raisins, fine old brandy spirit and spice. Rich, viscous mouthfeel with flavours of liquorice allsorts, Morello cherries and marzipan flooding the mouth. Underlying elements of spicy raisins and confectionary are also apparent. Firmish tannins with well integrated brandy spirit. Long aftertaste of liquorice, Morello cherries, infusions of marzipan, fine brandy spirit and spicy raisins. Drink over the next 5-6 years.
