Whilst in Italy during vintage some years ago, the sight of local vignerons sipping light red wines from tumblers struck vine-head Ash Ratcliff as a brief moment of calm in an otherwise frantic vintage season. The same thoughts came to mind whilst sampling the new release of his light and frisky Rosé. Here, Negroamaro, Grenache, Greco & Nero d’Avola come together to create that Colour of Calmness that Ash remembers so well. It's crunchy and sweet with red fruit (not sugar) and finishes with the dry and savoury thumbprint of a wine made from Mediterranean grapes. It's set to go down very easy in the warmer weather.
