Palacio del Camino Real Tempranillo

This is classic Rioja riserva and outstanding quality Rioja given its modest price. 20 months ageing in French & American oak ply the wine with a sheen of rich vanilla, coffee and cocoa. Underneath there is bags of rich dark fruit flavours, delicious vanilla and spice notes and leather and pipe tobacco on the close. If you like your wines bold and beautiful this is just the drop. Plenty of sweet fruit to hold up against the extended ageing in oak and some lovely tertiary flavours and aromas poking their head through the smokey fruit.
