Sourced from the iconic Breakneck Creek vineyard in the cooler eastern foothills of McLaren Vale. Gently fermented in small open fermenters for 12 days, before basket pressing and maturing in French and American oak for 18 months. It then rested in bottle for another 2 years before releasing. The resulting wine is rich, dark and decadent. It is drinking superbly right now, or will reward those with even more patience.
