We love this wine. This is a wine you don’t drink by the glass – you drink it by the litre. And we are totally fine with that. ‘La ficelle’ means ‘the string’, referring to the old-timey wine bars of France where they would give you a big jug of wine and you can drink as much as you like! When you’re ready to get back on your horse and drunkenly ride home, your bartender would dip the string into the jug to see how much you drank and charge you accordingly. A blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir, this is juicy and more-ish with just a touch of sexy.
