Pale straw in colour with platinum highlights . The nose is a symphony of melon and stone fruit ? juicy white peaches and nectarines are accented by sweet Rockmelon, Granny Smith apples, and fresh lemon zest. These fresh fruit aromas are accented by sweet floral top notes of peach blossom and honeysuckle, the earthy ground-spice characters of cinnamon, anise and allspice, and a touch of rich buttery Brioche that adds creamy sweetness and complexity to the bouquet. The palate is creamy yet crisp with excellent natural acidity with near perfect structure and flow across the palate. It is awash with the flavours of white peach, fresh citrus and honeydew melon; complemented by the sweet zing of lemon and lime curd, toasted crumpets with orange blossom honey, and the sweet/spicy concoction of Chai Tea. The palate is long and luscious with a creamy mid palate leading through to a crisply refreshing finish. A superbly complex and elegant wine with both richness and finesse.
