From the famed Rutherglen wine region comes this Classic Muscat, deep amber in colour with some tawny highlights, and slightly olive green hued at the rim. Its fresh bouquet greets you with rich raisin and orange rind aromas backed by a dusky rancio complexity. Flavours of apricot, peach and fig are consistently retained. Its palate is silky, smooth, sumptuous and vibrant with a long, lingering finish. It is delicately balanced and potent, yet excitably dry. A few suggested dishes that go well with this Classic Muscat are Barley Risotto with mushrooms and gremolata, roasted medley of winter roots, Alsatian onion tart, Arroz Huerfano, and baked croutons.
