Crafted biodynamically and entirely by hand, this Chardonnay shows incredible balance between fruit purity, flinty complexity, and beautifully integrated oak. Elegant yet powerful, it is a wine of detail, texture, and long term cellaring pedigree, unmistakably Sorenberg.

About the Winery
Sorenberg, founded by Barry & Jan Morey in 1978, is a tiny biodynamic estate in Beechworth, producing some of Australia’s most coveted wines in minuscule quantities. Farming is certified biodynamic, yields are low, ferments are wild, and oak is handled with absolute finesse. Sorenberg Chardonnay has become one of Australia’s great cool climate benchmarks, prized for its purity, texture, and unmistakable sense of place.
Cellaring Potential
Drink now for its vibrancy or cellar confidently until 2038+ as it develops layers of hazelnut, honey, and savoury minerality, a long-lived Australian classic.
